Monster Max

Monsters prefer 3-string guitars.

This is the box art for Monster Max. I'm not sure yet if guitars actually appear in the game.

Wayne's World
(Super NES, 1992)
Excellent.

In this platform game, you play as Wayne Cambell, venturing through many levels to save your friend Garth. You attack by strumming your guitar, which shoots sound waves at the bad guys. In the second level you can see some guitars hanging in the background. I recommend this game to everyone—Not!
